Since time immemorial, Tates' have provided hungry shoppers and locals with delectable fishy-chippy treats.
Everyone has their favourite fish and chip shop from their childhood that their parents instilled in them was the best, and this is mine. It's tucked away off the main pedestrian area in Boston, just off the Market Place, but let your nose guide you and you'll not be disappointed. Scraps are free woo!
I think they might even still fry their chips in dripping, which is very un-pc, but very tasty. -

Service is very friendly and efficient. Chips were edible but felt like they came from close to the bottom of the fryer. Fish was hit, fresh and tasty. Would visit again but wouldn't drive too far.

Son arrived from US and wanted fish and chips. Straight to Tates and we weren't disappointed. Both the cod and haddock were fresh and tasty.
